Shipping and Local-Pickup Policy
Effective Date: August 5, 2026
1. Fulfillment Methods
Available methods may include appointment-only local pickup, approved local delivery, insured white-glove delivery, or UPS/USPS shipping when appropriate for the commission. Availability and price depend on size, weight, destination, access, and risk.
2. Final Payment
All balances and approved fulfillment or storage charges must be paid and recorded before a commission is released, delivered, or shipped.
3. Pickup
Customers must arrive at the confirmed time with a suitable vehicle, protective materials, and secure tie-downs. The customer or authorized representative must inspect and accept the commission. Risk transfers after documented acceptance and release, except for rights that cannot legally be limited.
4. Delivery
Customers must provide accurate address and access information and ensure a clear delivery path and placement area. An authorized adult must be present to inspect and accept the commission. Independent providers operate under their own terms and insurance.
5. Shipping
When shipping is approved, Vitola BandWorks will use reasonable protective packaging and provide tracking when available. Customers must inspect promptly, retain packaging, photograph visible damage, and notify Vitola BandWorks and the carrier within the applicable reporting period.
6. Ready Notice and Storage
The ready notice begins a 14-calendar-day pickup grace period. When applicable, a $10-per-day storage fee begins on Day 15. A commission unclaimed on Day 60 may receive a final 14-calendar-day written notice and be handled as permitted by the commission documents and applicable law.
7. Delays and Address Errors
Carrier, weather, access, customer scheduling, and force-majeure delays may be outside Vitola BandWorks’ control. Additional costs caused by an inaccurate address, failed appointment, inaccessible delivery area, or unauthorized recipient may be charged to the customer when legally permitted.
